Was in Waltham for a specialty car service. Needed a place to have a GF bite to eat while waiting. Stumbled upon Bistro 781. Let me tell you 5 stars is not a high enough rating. We sat at the bar and Hannah was working. Let me tell you she makes a mean drink and has a great personality. Nina was the “manager” and went ABOVE and BEYOND to assure we were happy customers. I ordered a Bloody Mary from their pick your own menu. House pepper garlic vodka, spicy mix, tajin rim w/ fresh thick cut bacon, grilled shrimp and pickled veggies. To die for! We also tried their house infused banana tequila, mind blown! For lunch we split a GF pepperoni pizza and GF fried shrimp tacos. Absolutely delish. It’s a scratch kitchen so everything is made to order and For all you GF ppl, almost the entire menu is GFA and they have separate fryolater !!! Pizza was just the right amount of good greasy and amazing flavor. Tacos o light and flavorful. Would travel an hour just to eat here again.

Huge menu, so many delicious dishes to choose from! I got the chicken and waffle eggs Benedict and it was so good! I also tried my sisters steak and cheese egg rolls and can recommend them along with the red sangria and espresso martini! Great atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating and excellent service! My mom and aunt got the burger and the loved it! Definitely check this place out!

The most underrated part about Bistro 781 is their killer breakfast and brunch. They take the breakfast burrito to a whole other level easily one upping Taco Bell’s signature Crunchwrap supreme. Everything is stuffed to the brim and they don’t skimp on fillings. Drizzle a little hot sauce and you’re all set! As for the Banana bread French toast, I love how the bread was more dense rather than fluffy. There’s a time and place for either, but in this case, the caramel glaze alongside the banana bread was the right move. Easily one of my favorite breakfasts I’ve had in the area and highly recommend!

Just had an amazing lunch. The poke bowl was excellent and was served in a crispy rice bowl. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. The truffle fries and cornbread were also excellent! Deb was great! Highly recommend!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Waltham! The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere are all good. My go to dish is the short rib mac and cheese. This is a great option for vegetarians and vegans too, as they have a separate dedicated vegetarian/vegan menu. Highly recommend!

BEST spot on Moody St., hands down! Great for connecting with friends. Good everything, cocktails, appetizers, entrees and desserts. Each trip brought me such joy, whether you sit at the bar, high top, table or the lounge area up front; it’s a vibe - they even have a dope live music set on some Fridays. My favorite selections (to name a few) are seafood paella (watch out for lemons), pan seared scallops and short rib Mac and cheese. The staff really makes it feel like place you wouldn’t mind frequenting - special callout to Elizabeth! Parking on Moody street is like winning a scratch off, so good luck. The closest lot is the Crescent St lot, puts about a brisk (if it’s cold) walk away. Confidently recommend!
